Happy Halloween!

Primary 2 enjoyed getting involved in some spook-tacular activities in the run up to Halloween! We created our own fabulous pumpkin and bat masks, iced some Halloween themed biscuits and worked hard to write a re-count of one of our favourite stories - Room on the Broom!

Mad for Autumn Leaves!

P2 loved exploring our Autumn season and looking for the colourful leaves so much that they decided to do it again in the playground at play time the next day. Very impressed with the findings! We also had fun with the Autumn themed pairs game, colouring in sheets and created brilliant Autumn acrostic poems during our writing session! Very well done.

Build, Build, Build!

P2 love building towers using different materials in the classroom. Blocks, Lego bricks, magnets, cups, you name it! We even decorated our classroom with lovely Christmas paper chains. We worked in pairs to cut, glue and stick the paper together and then combined our creations to build one very long chain. This is now hanging proudly above our window. Very impressive!
