On the morning of the 1st December, Primary 2 were welcomed into their class by a special guest - an elf! This elf had left us some lovely Christmas books to read during story time as well as a book which explained all about why she was here. She told us that she wanted to visit Primary 2 to spread some Christmas cheer and keep an eye on all of the boys and girls to make sure they were making good choices! But first...we had the super important task of naming our special elf. We had a class vote and the most popular name was Kubie. Kubie was in a different hiding spot (usually doing something silly) each morning and we loved getting to find where she was and see what she had been getting up to. Sadly Kubie has now had to return to the North Pole to finish off her duties with Santa before Christmas but Primary 2 have had so much fun with her over the last few weeks. We are super lucky that Kubie decided to come to our class and hope she gets to spread cheer to another class next year. We will miss you Kubie! Merry Christmas from Miss McAteer and Primary 2 :)
