Some photographs of Primary 2 working hard during our numeracy lessons. We love to use different resources to help us practise and develop our skills! Here you will see us working on our number formations, accessing sum-dog on the class chromebooks, challenging ourselves with tricky maths games on the interactive whiteboard and loads more! We are getting especially good at being able to present numbers in different ways such as on a domino, on a dice, as a tally mark and so on. You can see us proudly showing off our domino drawing on our whiteboards! Using our 100 square to practise counting has become a daily challenge in P2 and we are now able to count up in 1s, 2s, 5s, and 10s. We can identify odd numbers and even numbers and correctly complete number sequences. Perhaps a few mathematicians in the making?
