Kubie’s Adventures!

On the morning of the 1st December, Primary 2 were welcomed into their class by a special guest - an elf! This elf had left us some lovely Christmas books to read during story time as well as a book which explained all about why she was here. She told us that she wanted to visit Primary 2 to spread some Christmas cheer and keep an eye on all of the boys and girls to make sure they were making good choices! But first...we had the super important task of naming our special elf. We had a class vote and the most popular name was Kubie. Kubie was in a different hiding spot (usually doing something silly) each morning and we loved getting to find where she was and see what she had been getting up to. Sadly Kubie has now had to return to the North Pole to finish off her duties with Santa before Christmas but Primary 2 have had so much fun with her over the last few weeks. We are super lucky that Kubie decided to come to our class and hope she gets to spread cheer to another class next year.

Christmas Party 2020!

P2 had such a brilliant time at their Christmas party today. We played games such as reindeer ring toss, pin the tail on Rudolph, musical statues, don’t eat Santa and even had our very own “photo booth” backdrop! We enjoyed our yummy snacks and watched Trolls Holiday, danced our socks off outside with all of the other teachers and classes and ended our day with the most exciting visit from SANTA! We were even lucky enough to receive an early Christmas present from him. A tiring but super fun day! :)

Build, Build, Build!

P2 love building towers using different materials in the classroom. Blocks, Lego bricks, magnets, cups, you name it! We even decorated our classroom with lovely Christmas paper chains. We worked in pairs to cut, glue and stick the paper together and then combined our creations to build one very long chain. This is now hanging proudly above our window. Very impressive!
